I’ve abstained from officially putting anything ‘out’ about DeflateGate, Tom Brady, the Wells Report and all that Jazz…..but this is just too good and it’s Media Frenzy Gold. Every day between Mother’s Day and today I’ve started to write something and then said – nahhh…..don’t bleed your bias onto a piece. Let’s face it, I’m about as unbiased as the Wells Report. Again I said about, not more probable than not because face itI’m much more open minded, even after I’ve been hitting heavy from the homer soup.
It’s not time to press the panic button yet, but it may be time to start looking at it. Last night the Red Sox lost to the Yankees in what became a close game….but it wasn’t close for most of the night.
Pitching for the Red Sox was ‘Cy Young McGee’, Joe Kelly who is probably out of the Cy Young race already. It’s strange to watch Kelly pitch, his stuff is disgusting, he can rear it up to 100 and has devastating throws, except baseball, especially pitching- like real estate or even just life- is about location, location, location. Kelly can’t seem to locate, so every once in a while (and by that I mean quite often) he throws Home Run Derby meatballs.
At least we get to see if the kid can be good in the Majors
