The Boston Celtics cannot bring Rivers back as head coach now.   By: Scott LaCascia   Danny Ainge and Doc Rivers will sit down and talk on Wednesday, amid much turmoil and controversy regarding the latter's future as the head coach of the Boston Celtics. After nearly two weeks of rumors and speculation, this much is clear: Wyc Grousbeck, Ainge and the Celtics CANNOT bring back Doc Rivers as their coach. They don't have a choice anymore. They need to get the Los Angeles Clippers back on the phone and get something done.

After a demolishing 113-77 Spurs win, the 2013 NBA Finals series pendulum is clearly favoring San Antonio. To say the series is over would be beyond brazen, but the 100th playoff win for the Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginoboli trio was the type of victory that can swing a Finals. After Miami threw a haymaker in Game 2, winning 103-84 (and evening the series 1-1), the Spurs came back with an even harder punch.

You could see this one coming a mile away. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick loves tough, smart, versatile players. He also loves to make deals which present minimal risk and turn out to be a success, especially at the right price. He likes to take a stab at reclamation projects; some have worked out well (Harrison, Moss), and others have not (Ocho Cinco, Haynesworth). For this reason, you could always see Tim Tebow ending up in Foxboro.
